In the written statement he further said that this statement of AL leader Abdur Razzaq is actually a confession of subjugating constitutional organizations by the “fascist government”.
His statement clarified that the government has illegally imprisoned 21,835 BNP leaders and workers since October 28 to suppress the party’s ongoing movement to restore people’s snatched voting rights, democracy and human rights.
The written statement mentioned that in the last 14 weeks, 1,249 BNP leaders and workers have been sentenced to imprisonment for different periods in 79 cases.
