46th BCS Prelims: Marks will not be deducted for wrong questions, says BPSC Chairman

PSC Controller of Examinations Anand Kumar Vishwas said that in case of any mistake in the question paper, marks are not deducted and marks are given to the candidates.

The 46th BCS preliminary examination was held simultaneously on April 26 at Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chattogram, Khulna, Barishal, Sylhet, Rangpur and Mymensingh centres. The examination was conducted from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.

A total of 2,54,561 candidates appeared for the examination for 3,140 vacancies under various cadres (Category A Gazetted Officers).

Of the posts, 1,682 are for Assistant Surgeon, 16 for Assistant Dental Surgeon, 920 for Education, 274 for Administration, 10 for Foreign Affairs, 80 for Police, 14 for Ansar, 49 for Family Planning, 26 Fisheries Another 65 are for public office. Working Cadre.
