Cabinet Secretary Mahbubur Rahman said the decision was taken at a cabinet meeting on Monday.
The general office timings in the country were from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
But the government reduced the timing by one hour to “save electricity and energy” and fixed it from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm from November 15, 2022.
