Bangladesh becomes Champion in Cricket event of south Asian games 2010 and won gold Medal. Bangladesh Beat Sri Lanka by 6 runs at Dhaka in the final of South Asian games cricket event. Batting first, Bangladesh under 21 scored 157 for 7 in their allocated 20 over.  Anamul scored brilliant 43 runs and captain Mithun scored dashing 37 from just 21 balls. Tishara and Pathirana took two wickets each for Sri Lanka. Chasing a fighting score of 158 runs Sri Lanka just managed to score 151 runs before being all out in 19.5 over. Lahiru scored 39 for Sri Lanka while Bangladeshi bowlers were outstanding with their ball. Bangladeshi leg spinner Sabbir took 4 wickets for Bangladesh. Bangladeshi coach and skipper give the credit to whole team for the team spirit of the players. Dhaka Sher-e Bangla Stadium was burst by the crowd who came to see the final match between Bangladesh versus Sri Lanka.
