The CM directed the Chief Secretary of the state to remove the film from all the theaters where it is being shown.
Reacting to the ban, the film’s producer Vipul Amritlal Shah said that he would pursue a legal option against the decision.
Shah told ANI, “If the state government will not listen to us, we will explore the legal route. However, whatever route we take will be based on legal advice.”
Helmed by Sudipto Sen and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the film drew sharp opposition from Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who called it “RSS propaganda”.
Congress MP from Kerala Shashi Tharoor accused the makers of “misrepresenting” Kerala.
