British aircraft crashes in an air show.

RAF (Royal Air force) Red Arrows aircraft crashed after a display at the Bournemouth air festival in Dorset yesterday. Dorset is a county on southern coast of England.

Nine aircrafts took off from the runway and after the display only eight landed on the runway.

The aircraft hit the ground with loud explosion killing the pilot.  Bournemouth airport flight operations were stopped for short time.

This Red Arrows Hawk T1 Aircraft is used since 1979. It is an UK made two seated single engine training aircraft. Its maximum flight height 14,630m and maximum speed 1,025 kilometer per hour in level flight, in a dive its speed may be 1,472 kilometer per hour.

Many people near the airport have watched this tragic accident and an armature cameraman shot the crash scene. The site is cordoned by the police now, only local residents are allowed to enter that area now.

Military air accident investigation branch is trying to determine the cause of the crash.
