Aleksandar Mitrovic made it 3–1 for Serbia early in the second half, before Cameroon scored twice through Vincent Aboubakar and Eric Maxime Choupo-Moting to level at 3–3. Both the teams tried to find a winner but the match ended in a 3-3 deadlock.
Serbia took a dramatic 2-1 lead against Cameroon with an accurate goal in first half injury time. After Strahinja Pavlovic scored the equaliser, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic took the lead. Earlier, Cameroon defender Jean-Charles Castelletto put the ball into the back of the net from a corner kick.
