Fourteen more dengue patients across the country – 10 in Dhaka and four in other districts – died in the 24-hour period till 8:00 am on Wednesday. Due to this, the death toll this year has increased to 671.
During this period, a total of 2,115 people were admitted to various hospitals after being diagnosed with dengue. Of these, 833 cases are from Dhaka, while the remaining 1,282 cases were reported from different districts.
