‘Sutarang’ was a popular film of Subhash Dutta which kicked of his career. Subhash Dutta was the director of that film. He
played hero’s role in that film.
Subhash Dutta devoted his entire life for films. He produced many popular films including Arunodoyer Agnishakhi, Dumurer
Phool, Talash , Abirbhab, Palabadal, Harano Din and Rajdhanir Bukey.
Subhash Dutta also acted in theater and made some telefilms for television. He received Ekushey Padak and national films
award. He also participated in international film festivals with his films.
He breathed his last in his residence at around 07:10 am yesterday. He was suffering from various old age complexities
including heart disease.
His body will be taken to Central Shahid Minar so that people can pay their respect to him, then his body will be taken to
Postogola cremation ground.
