Article 19, a UK-based international human rights organization, lauded the submission of the final report by the police in the case against journalist Rosina Islam. The organization hopes that Rosina Islam will get justice from the court.
On 17 May 2021, while on professional duty, journalist Rozina Islam was detained at the Ministry of Health, tortured and tortured for about six hours.
He was handed over to Shahbag police station the same day at around 8.30 pm. A case was registered against him in the police station at around 11:45 pm. He is shown arrested and sent straight to jail.

Journalist Rozina Islam received the Free Press Award 2021 as the ‘Most Resilient Journalist’. He also received the 2022 ‘Anti-Corruption Champions Award’, conferred by the US State Department on December 9 last year.
