Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated in Saudi Arabia on June 16 after moon sighting

Saudi Arabia's Supreme Court on Thursday announced that Friday, June 7 will be the first day of Zil Hajj, as the Zil Hajj crescent was sighted in the kingdom on Thursday evening, Gulf News reports.

According to a statement from the Saudi Supreme Court, “Arafat Day is on Saturday, June 15, while Sunday, June 16 will be the first day of Eid al-Adha.”

It will be known on Friday when Bangladesh will celebrate Eid-ul-Azha.
