Eid-ul-Azha, the second largest religious festival of the Muslim Ummah, will be celebrated on November 7 as the Zilhaz moon was sighted on Friday.
A meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee announced this evening that the Eid-ul-Azha will be observed on November 7 as the Zilhaz moon was sighted in Bangladesh sky.
Joint secretary and acting director general of Islamic Foundation M Ikramul Haque presided over the meeting. The meeting received information from different parts of the country about the moon sighting.
