Prothom alo from Abdullah Al Arefin, Deputy Assistant Director of Ghazipur Fire Service, a unit of his 12 members reached Banga Bazar and started extinguishing the fire.
The fire service received a call about the blaze at around 6:10am this morning. A total of 41 fire service units went to the spot at around 8:00 am. The fire service later said 43 units had been deployed there.
At around 10:15 am the fire service said, 50 of their units are working to extinguish the fire. Rashid bin Khalid, the duty officer of the Fire Service Control Room, has confirmed the news of 50 units going there.
