Agriculture Minister Mohammad Abdur Razzaq chaired the meeting, while committee members participated in it.
TCB will buy soybean oil from local supplier Meghna Group for Tk 1.95 billion.
Syed Mehboob Khan, Additional Secretary, Cabinet Division, said Meghna won the supply contract through open tender at Tk 176.88 per liter of oil.
He also said that 8,000 tonnes of pulses would cost Tk 732.9 million. A Turkish company will supply the item at Rs 91.60 per kg.
