Grameenphone's startup innovation platform GP Accelerator's 'Jele Jele Smart Udyog' bootcamp was held in Rajshahi yesterday, aimed at finding regional smart entrepreneurs and boosting the potential growth of young entrepreneurs.
Targeting mainly university students and aspiring young entrepreneurs, the bootcamp was organised to enhance the skills of young people interested in starting new entrepreneurial ventures and provide support, networking and guidance in the areas of skill development, networking and financing. Around 200 entrepreneurs attended the bootcamp in Rajshahi.
This regional bootcamp is being organised at 20 locations across the country, a press release said.
The event was held at a hotel in the city with Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Rajshahi President Masudur Rahman Rinku as the chief guest.
Assistant Director of Youth Development Department Mohammad Alam Ali, Managing Director of Alaska Group Mohammad Mizanur Rahman and Grameenphone officials were present on the occasion.
