The Prime Minister said that while many countries are struggling to keep their economies afloat in the wake of the pandemic and the Ukraine war, Bangladesh’s economy is ‘still dynamic’.

A documentary on the export sector of Bangladesh was screened during the opening ceremony. A memoir, ‘Ami Tomaderi Lok’, about Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was also presented to the Prime Minister.

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi said traders from at least 12 countries, including India, Hong Kong, Turkey, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Pakistan, Thailand and Nepal, will display their products at 17 pavilions, smaller pavilions and stalls at the fair . on Saturday.

At least 84 stalls have been allotted in Hall A and 90 stalls in Hall B of the exhibition venue. A total of 57 pavilions have been set up at the exhibition center, with 23 restaurants at the back. 60 more stalls have been set up near the hall.
