Hungary, a landlocked country in Central Europe, wants to hire engineers and workers from the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant to build its second nuclear power plant.
The request in this regard was made by Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto in a recent meeting with Bangladesh Foreign Minister Hasan Mahmood in Brussels, Belgium.
Foreign Ministry officials confirmed this to Prothom Alo on Monday.
Hassan Mahmood had gone to Brussels in early February to attend the ministerial meeting of the Indo Pacific region.
On this occasion he held meetings with the foreign ministers of five European countries.
Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation is building the Pax-2 nuclear power plant in Hungary. Earlier, he constructed Pak Nuclear Power Plant in the country.
