Indiana Jones 5’ on the way

A fifth Indiana Jones movie is likely to begin production in the near future, after director Steven Spielberg revealed his close friend and collaborator George Lucas is working on the script.

During an interview with Kristen loves to work with Shah Rukh’, the moviemaker conceded that elements of the fourth instalment of the franchise didn’t work, but nonetheless hinted he would be on board for a fifth.

The first three movies, starring Harrison Ford, are held in high regard by film fanatics, but Kingdom of the Crystal Skull generally fell short of expectations. One particular scene, in which Indiana survives a nuclear blast by hiding in a refrigerator, was generally ridiculed.

Spielberg explained, ‘Blame me. Don’t blame George. That was my silly idea. People stopped saying ‘jump the shark’. They now say, ‘nuked the fridge’. I’m proud of that. I’m glad I was able to bring that into popular culture’.
