Institution is the proper place of any learning process. Any skill gets its proper shape by the touch of an institution. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today urged institutions of different types to organize sports competitions alongside the sport clubs to engage the youths in healthy activities.

The prime minister also asked the concerned government authorities to take steps to stage traditional sports competitions in rural areas.
Sheikh Hasina urged the players to maintain an international standard in their performance through continued training while made a call upon the affluent section of society to sponsor the sportsmen for their livelihood.
She said that initiatives were already taken to preserve
playing fields at village, union, upazila and thana levels across
the country.
“If needed, our government will organize training for
players abroad,” said Sheikh Hasina, who is also the chief patron
of Abahani Limited.
She greeted the players of the clubs with bouquet.
Abahani Limited chairman Salman F Rahman, acting director of
the club Kazi Shahed Ahmed, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club’s
founding member Sheikh Hafizur Rahman and president Manjur Qader
