Ireland captain Andre Balbirnie was upbeat about making a comeback to Test cricket and said he wanted to enjoy the big opportunity and was not afraid of losing matches, reports BSS.

After securing a place in the elite format of cricket in 2017, Ireland have played only three Test matches with the last in 2019. They duly lost all three of those matches as their lack of experience was widely exposed.

Ireland have just four left from their last Test in 2019 and include nine uncapped players in their Test squad for Bangladesh. Three of them have never played first-class cricket. Next to them are Bangladesh, who have 473 caps in their Test team.
