Is the January 7 election already put on hold? Special conversation with Zainul Abedin

prothom hello,

What will BNP do if the government is elected through the January 7 elections?

Zainul Abedin: This is not a BNP issue; This is a public matter. People will see how the elections were held. Not only this, people in other countries who think about the elections in Bangladesh will also analyze how the elections were conducted.

Whether elections were held or not, whether it can be called an election or not, can be said only after the elections. We are saying that the elections of January 7 have already been stopped. Because there is no participation of people at any level.

Whenever the ruling party has nominated its candidates, and then immediately announced that party leaders can contest as independent candidates, the election has been stopped. This cannot be called an election now. The ruling party itself does not want participatory elections. They want election manifesto.

prothom hello,

Zainul Abedin: Thank you too.
