Further easing of COVID-19 testing requirements and quarantine rules in some Chinese cities prompted a mix of relief and concern on Friday, as hundreds of millions of people await an expected change in national virus policies following widespread social unrest.
“While COVID-19 and flu may be mild infections for many people, we must not forget that they can cause serious illness or even death for the most vulnerable in our communities”, UK Health Mary Ramsay, director of public health programs at the security agency, said.
