When they were taking Rehmat Ullah, Mumtaz Begum followed them. He saw a RAB vehicle and a Hiace microbus outside. They put Rahmat Ullah in the microbus.
Razia said that the next day, on August 30, they went to the RAB camp in Manikganj to search for Rehmat Ullah and were asked to go to Dhamrai police station. But Dhamrai police station did not give them any information. They also went to Nabinagar RAB camp and Savar Detective Police (DB) office in search of Rehmat Ullah. The family said that Dhamrai police station initially refused to register the General Diary (GD). Later, when the news was published in the local media, he filed the GD on 7 October.
Razia further said that they went to RAB, DB office and jail in search of her brother, but to no avail.
Razia said, “If my brother is involved in any crime then he should be prosecuted under the law. Why was disappearance imposed?” She wants her brother back safe and sound.
Attempts were made to contact RAB Legal and Media Win regarding the allegations. However, it was not possible to contact him over phone at that time.

The organization’s coordinator Sanjeeda Islam also addressed the briefing conducted by Mayor Dak’s Manzoor Hussain Isha. Psychiatrist Abdul Haq Pinak expressed his solidarity.
