After interrogating the three arrested in Anwarul Azim abduction case during their eight-day remand, the DMP again produced them before the court today, Friday, and sought another eight-day remand.

After hearing both the sides, the court allowed everyone to be taken on five-day remand. Last Friday, the court had allowed everyone to be taken on eight-day remand.

MP Anwarul Azim went to Kolkata on May 12. He was murdered the next day in his flat in Sanjiva Garden in New Town, Kolkata.

After examining the CCTV camera footage and other details of the flat, Kolkata Police informed Bangladesh Police about the case. After this, the Detective Branch Police arrested three accused including Shimul Bhuiyan in Dhaka.
