The nation is all set to observe Genocide Day tomorrow to commemorate the brutality inflicted by the Pakistani Army on unarmed Bangles on the dark night of March 25, 1971 under the infamous “Operation Searchlight”.
The Ministry of Liberation has organized various programs to celebrate Genocide Day on 25 March at the state level with due respect.
As part of the programmes, a one-minute symbolic ‘blackout’ will be observed across the country from 10.30 pm to 10.31 pm on March 25, a press release said.
However, installation of key points (KPIs) and essential installations will remain outside the purview of the programme.
