New traffic system of Dhaka city

Dhaka Metropolitan police created a new dimension in the traffic system for mega city Dhaka. Dhaka is well known for the problem of traffic jam. It has been a common scenario for the last one decade. Government has taken many steps time to time to solve the problems of traffic jam. But those haven’t resulted effectively for the people. Dhaka metropolitan police has taken new steps to reduce the jam of the city. This system refers to drive the transport according to lane. Through lane system different sort of vehicle will run in different lane. According to the new system the private cars, microbus and VIP vehicle will run in the right lane of the road. Bus, Mini Bus, truck, covered van will go on the middle lane and baby taxi, CNG auto rickshaw, tempo; human holler will run on the left lane. If any driver breaks the rule he has to face some legal consequences like jail and financial penalty.
