After the accident, Ghazipur Deputy Commissioner Abul Fateh Mohammad Shafikul Islam reached the spot. He said that the four injured have been taken to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital.
The Deputy Commissioner said that a three-member committee has been formed regarding the incident. After the accident, journeys of many trains have been stopped at different stations.
He said that higher officials of the Railways have been contacted to take steps to start the rescue process as soon as possible.
