Bangladesh maintains friendly relations with all for the socio-economic advancement of the people, he said. “We have very good relations with every country. Since we are following the policy given to us by the Father of the Nation, we are maintaining equally friendly relations with all. Because, our aim is to uplift the socio-economic ” condition of our people.”
Summarizing her government’s efforts to ensure overall development of the country, Sheikh Hasina said they are successfully uplifting the socio-economic status of the country’s people.
The Prime Minister extended his warm wishes to all stakeholders, including the armed forces, for cooperation in implementing the Government’s goal of improving the livelihoods of the people.
He stressed, “We will not engage in war with anyone. We will maintain friendly relations with all.” He said his government has also been successfully able to maintain such relations.
The Prime Minister also said that Bangladesh is moving ahead following the policy of ‘friendship towards all, malice towards none’ which was enunciated in the foreign policy by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
