President Zillur Rahman returned home tonight from Singapore after undergoing medical check-up at Mount Elizabeth Hospital there.
The President arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10.30pm by a regular Singapore Airlines flight after five days in Singapore.
Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith, Agriculture Minister Matia Chowdhury, cabinet secretary, chiefs of the three services and high civil and military officials were present at the airport to receive him.
After the three-day medical checkup, a pool of specialist physicians at Mount Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday concluded that health condition of the President is good.
President Rahman was accompanied by his family members, personal physician and high officials of Bangabhaban.
