Jaago Foundation founder Korvi Rakshchand has been honored with Ramon Magsaysay Award-2.
Along with him, three citizens from India, Philippines and East Timor have also won this prestigious award.
The names of four winners, including Korvi Rakshand, were published on the website of the Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation on Thursday. This award is given by the Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation in Manila, the capital of the Philippines. This year marks the 65th anniversary of the Ramon Magsaysay Award.
According to the website of the Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation, Korvi Rakshand is a pioneer in promoting universal quality education in Bangladesh.
He is continuously working to promote the culture of active participation of youth in his country.
