Renowned sculptor Shamim Sikdar passed away on Tuesday in a city hospital at the age of around 70.
Family members said that he breathed his last at around 4.30 pm while undergoing treatment at United Hospital.
Shamim Sikdar had been suffering from several health complications including heart and kidney ailments for a long time.
