Sheikh Hasina held separate meetings with Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Indian Union Minister and former External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar at her residence in New Delhi on Monday morning.

The Prime Minister of Bangladesh arrived in New Delhi on Saturday at the invitation of her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the new Indian government.

Sheikh Hasina was scheduled to leave the Indian capital for Dhaka in the afternoon.
