SouthEast University (SEU) welcomed its newly admitted students for Spring Semester 2024 with a lively Freshers Reception and Orientation program at the SEU Multipurpose Hall at its permanent campus in Tejgaon, Dhaka on March 4 and 5. A press release said the program consisted of four separate sessions for different departments.
The newly admitted students of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) were addressed in the inaugural session on 4th March at 11:00 am with Dr. Mohammed Kaykobad, former Professor, CSE, BUET, and Co-Raisul Kabir as the Chief Guest. . Founder and CEO of Brain Station 2023 as special guest. Subsequently, students from the departments of Architecture, EEE, Pharmacy and Textiles were welcomed in the second session at 3:00 pm on the same day. Professor Dr. Ehsanul Kabir, Managing Director and CEO of Essential Drugs Company Limited, along with Engr., joined the session as the Chief Guest. Mohammad Ashad Hussain, Chairman, Textile Engineering Division, IEB was present as the special guest.
