According to the Speedy Trial Act, a report or complaint under Section 9(2) shall be filed within seven working days of the commission of the offence. And, the court shall complete the hearing within 60 working days (subject to the provision of section 11) of the submission of the report or complaint.
There are two common phrases used about justice. One is, ‘To delay justice is to deny justice’ and the other is, ‘To deliver justice in a hurry is to bury justice’.
