The current KCC mayor owns a piece of land along with a half house, which is worth Tk 21.2 million. The other half of the house is owned by his wife. However, he did not have that house before the last KCC election.

Besides this, the wife of Talukdar Abdul Khaliq has a plot of land in Purbachal area under Rajdhani Unnayan Kartipakkha (RAJUK). He also owns half of the five-storey building, which also includes a piece of land. The cost of that building has been shown as Rs 3.1 crore. In addition, he has a loan of Taka 13.4 million from Sonali Bank’s Sir Iqbal Road branch.

Among immovable properties, Talukdar Khalek has 23 bighas of agricultural land through the paternal line, another 3.21 acres of agricultural land and three katthas of non-agricultural land, the total value of which is about 2.82 million taka. His wife had 25 Bhoris of jewellery, which she had inherited. He still has the same number of ornaments.
