On Saturday night, miscreants set fire to a parked truck on the Nagaon-Rajshahi highway in Haat Chakgauri area of Mohdebpeer upazila of Nagaon.
Mohdebpur Fire Service Station team chief Ashraful Alam confirmed the matter to Prothom Alo.
He said the truck was parked on the west side of a bridge in Haat Chakgauri area and the miscreants set fire to the front part of the vehicle at around 9.30 pm and fled from the spot.
