According to the police, Rupam and Amit were going towards Ishwardi on a motorcycle when a covered van rammed into a two-wheeler coming from the opposite direction.
Locals later rushed him to Pabna Sadar General Hospital, where doctors declared Rupam brought dead. When Amit’s condition was critical, he was taken to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, but he died on the way.
Kripa Sindhu said that the driver of the covered van and his associate fled leaving the vehicle behind.
