UCB partners with University of Central Lancashire to offer affordable British degrees in Bangladesh

During the event, welcome speeches were delivered by the dignitaries, followed by inauguration and signing of agreements. Professor Muhammad Ismail Hussain, Dean of Academic Affairs of UCB presented the vote of thanks.

Education Minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury lauded the initiative, saying, “We have to focus on enriching the country's future workforce by providing timely skills to our youth that are in line with the demands of not only the local but also the global market. The partnership between UCB and UCLAN is a perfect example of recognising the need for global education, which should be followed by others in the region.”

Her Excellency Sarah Cook, British High Commissioner to Bangladesh, said: “Currently over 500,000 students around the world are studying for a UK degree abroad, helping them to enhance their future job prospects. British higher education institutions are dedicated to providing accessible and high-quality higher education, creating a brighter future for students around the world.”
