Election Commissioner MD Alamgir has said that there is a possibility of chaos if steps are taken to reshuffle the regional administration before the elections to be held on January 7.
“Who will take responsibility if any chaos arises? Who will provide the expenses if officers are transferred?” He asked.
Mohammad Alamgir made this comment while answering the questions of journalists in his office at Nirbachan Bhawan on Wednesday afternoon.
He also said that the Election Commission will not take any step to change the regional administration without any valid reason.
However, the Commissioner said that an officer will be transferred only if it is proved that the officer is not neutral in his behaviour.
