Seven months have passed since the final results of the 15th Bangladesh Judicial Service (BJS) examination for the recruitment of Assistant Judges were published.
Due to the gazette not being published yet, 103 provisionally recommended candidates for the post of Assistant Judge could not appear.
According to the website of Bangladesh Judicial Service Commission (BJSC), the 15th BJS recruitment circular was published on May 12 last year.
BJSC conducted the preliminary and written examination in the same year. The viva voce examination ended on 19 January 2023. The final result was published on 24 January.
A job aspirant who passed the 15th BJS exam told Prothom Alo on the condition of anonymity that it has been around 16 months since the publication of recruitment notification and seven months have passed since the publication of the final result.
The candidate lamented, “But still I have not received the gazette. While the commission completed the examination long ago, the time for the written examination was only 25 days from the preliminary examination.”
