A total of 42 candidates have appealed to the Election Commission on the first day, including Awami League candidate Nasirul Islam Khan from Kishoreganj-3 constituency and Bangladesh Nationalist Movement (BNM) candidate Dali Sayantani from Pabna-2 constituency, the Election Commission said.
