13-year-old boy kidnapped from Dhaka, found dead in Chattogram

Ghulam Rasool lodged a general diary at the Jatrabari police station on Tuesday. He also paid 5,000 Taka as ransom through bKash to the kidnappers.

Ghulam Rasool alleged that he provided all the information to the police. However, he did not take any immediate action.

On Friday morning, locals spotted Noorun Nabi’s body in Hill View residential area of ​​Chattogram city and informed the police. On Friday night, Nurun Nabi’s brother identified the body.

Inspector Aktaruzzaman said, the police is trying to arrest the kidnappers.

Mafizul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Jatrabari police station, said the police are probing the incident following a general diary entry and the kidnappers could be neighbors of the victim.

The Jatrabari OC also denied the allegation of negligence leveled by the victim’s father.
