Police said that there are strong allegations against the arrested accused.
Mohammad Manzoor Rahman, a spokesman for the police headquarters, said suspects were arrested in 2,231 raids and 358 cases have already been registered in these connections.
In an order issued on November 29, every unit of the police in the country was directed to conduct special raids on hotels, community housing, dormitories and any other place that could be used as a base for criminals and militants.
