The deceased were Ruman Mia, 26, of Pratapnagar village in Jhenaigati upazila of Sherpur and Chan Mia, 19, of Baghata village of Shilmandi union of Narsingdi Sadar upazila.
Two motorcyclists died in a head-on collision between two motorcycles in Bhanga, Faridpur. Two passengers on the motorcycle were also injured. The accident occurred on the Dhaka-Barishal highway near Purba Sadardi bus stand in Bhanga upazila at around 10:30 pm on Wednesday.
The deceased were Saiful Mollah, 25, of Gangadardi area of Bhanga upazila and Al Imran Sharif, 28, of Jianagar neighborhood of Rupatali housing area of Barishal Sadar upazila.
In another incident in the same upazila around 7:00 pm yesterday, Mohammed Alimuzzaman Matubbar, 55, was killed in a head-on collision between two motorcycles in front of CCBL oil pump at Suadi village under Algi union. Three other passengers were injured in the accident. Alimuzzaman was a resident of Uttarkandi village of Catchail union of Nagarkanda upazila of Faridpur.
A young man died in a motorcycle accident in Lohgara, Narail. The accident occurred near Alamunsi Mor in the upazila around 3 pm on Thursday when the motorcycle collided with a bus. The second person riding the motorcycle was seriously injured.
