Two people, including a Rohingya, have died in Bangladesh after mortar shells from Myanmar fell in Bangladesh territory.
The incident took place around 2:45 pm on Monday in Jalpaitali village under Ghumdhum union in Naikhongchari, Bandarban.
The victims are Hosne Ara, 55, wife of Badshah Miya of Jalpaitali village, and Nabi Hussain, a 65-year-old Rohingya man who lives in Balukhali camp.
Nabi Hussain Hosne came to work as a laborer in Ara’s field.
