A case was registered against 55 named and over 200 unidentified persons in connection with the attack on Assistant Public Prosecutor Prabal Chaudhary Pujan of Sylhet Judge’s Court on Thursday.
The victim, Prabal Chowdhary, has filed a case against 55 people, including Sylhet District Students’ League President Nazmul Islam, General Secretary Raheel Siraj and Metropolitan Students’ League General Secretaries Naeem Ahmed, CCIC Ward Councilor Ruhail Ahmed and Sylhet Engineering College Students’ League President Misbaul Karim Rafiq .
Meanwhile, a court in Sylhet on Sunday ordered registration of a case under the Speedy Trial Act.
