Bangladesh Railway Divisional Manager (Dhaka Division) Mohammad Shafiqul Islam told the media that the three suspended officers are locomaster Jahangir Alam, assistant locomaster Atiqur Rahman and container train guard Alamgir Hossain.
He said he took the step after preliminary investigation as the officers failed to discharge their duty resulting in an accident in which 17 people lost their lives.
