As many as 752 or 32.26 per cent of 2,331 export-oriented readymade garment (RMG) factories in seven industrial areas, including Ashulia, Ghazipur, Narayanganj and Chattogram, have not paid Eid bonus to their workers till Wednesday.
According to the Industrial Police, there are 101 factories where the workers have not received their wages even for the month of March.
Apart from the RMG factories, the special police unit monitored other industries in Ashulia, Ghazipur, Chattogram, Narayanganj, Mymensingh, Khulna and Kamila.
