Notable personalities attending include AB Party joint general secretary Sani Abdul Haq; President of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement Rifat Rasheed; Its chief coordinator Haseeb Al Islam; and Office Secretary Shahadat Hussain.
Coordinator Ali Ahsan Junaid, chief coordinator Rafe Salman Rifat and spokesperson Shahrin Ira have also participated from UP Bangladesh. Both Junaid and Rafay had previously served as presidents of the Dhaka University unit of Islami Chhatra Shibir, the student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami.
After the announcement, the new members were formally welcomed by Naheed Islam and other NCP leaders with bouquets.
