RAB (Rapid Action Battalion) and NCD (Narcotics Control Department) workers jointly recovered 45 kg of hemp from Chandana crossing in Gazipur Sadar upazila on Friday morning.
They have arrested 3 three drug peddlers in this connection. They are: Abdul Hye, 42, son of Isahar of Kamarchar village, Osiuzzaman, 34, son of Jakim Uddin and Sona Mia, 35, son of Asgar Ali Osiuzzaman,
The inspector of NCD told that they have made the drive based on a secret message and recovered the 3 bags of drug.
The arrestee told that they bought these hemp-sacs from Jamalpur for retail selling.
